Seamless from start to finish, it is framed by firm, integrated tannins. 2007 Tempranillo Umpqua Valley: $25.00A cooler fall in 2007 contributed to slower fruit ripening and to more complex fruit character. On the nose, our 2007 Tempranillo has an inviting, soft, floral note combining with raspbrery, spicy red currant, and warm vanilla in the background. On the palate, red currant and powdered cocoa are framed by chewy tannins in a lingering finish. Aged 16 months in 34% new American Oak and 17% new French Oak, it should age nicely for 5-7 years, but you may have difficulty waiting that long. ph: 3.82, Tempranillo 87%, Syrah 13%.
